Chef Lasse Petersen runs this independently owned Herne Hill restaurant with green leather banquettes and gilt-edged mirrors. The menu works seasonally: pollack with mussels and bisque, lamb with bagna cauda and charred greens, Comté soufflé with autumn truffle. Service is warm and the wine list includes skin-contact bottles.
