An owner-run vegetarian café on the corner of Crampton Street, open since 2008, with a side door straight onto the cobbles of Iliffe Yard and its artists' workshops. Cakes, soup and bread are made on site, the coffee is Monmouth, and the walls carry work from the studios next door.

Order the date cake or the bread and butter pudding, take it to the outside tables, then wander Iliffe and Peacock Yards. Closed on Wednesdays.
