Rioja wine bar in King's Cross

The only bar in Britain pouring nothing but Rioja: 28 seats off a Victorian courtyard, about fifty wines picked by blind-tasting 220, every one available by the glass. A specialist room that is warm rather than worthy.

Come for Pintxo Hour, 5-6pm Tuesday to Saturday: order a 125ml glass or larger and the pincho is free, order a second and so is the next. Half the list is under a tenner a glass. It shuts at 10, so make it the start of the night.
