Mala Lal's one-woman plant-based Punjabi kitchen in a small Copeland Park unit, cooking her family's comfort food without the dairy: crisp parathas with pickle, aloo methi puffs, a Marmite tofu toastie with masala beans and proper masala chai.

Open Thursday to Sunday with separate lunch and dinner menus that change weekly; ask about her Paratha Club chai-and-film nights at SET Social.
