Yuko Mohri: In Concert

Exhibition in Barbican

Free kinetic sculpture in The Curve, made with the Barbican's own objects.

Japanese artist Yuko Mohri fills The Curve with a site-specific installation using materials salvaged from the Barbican itself. Moisture sensors in ripening fruit trigger pulsing streetlamps, while dripping water sets off chain reactions through buckets, tubes and musical instruments. The curved gallery wraps around the Concert Hall and lets its sounds through, which Mohri incorporated into the work. Free admission until 24 January 2027.
