Winifred Gill: A Bloomsbury Pioneer
Exhibition in Strand
Toy designs from Roger Fry's Omega Workshops, included with gallery entry.
A display of works by Winifred Gill, a key designer at the Omega Workshops who trained at the Slade and worked as designer, maker and business manager. Her exuberant watercolours for toy designs sit alongside a 1914 still life painted on cardboard and hand-coloured linocuts from the 1920s. For anyone interested in Bloomsbury design history.
