Tim Walker: Fairyland, Love and Legends
Exhibition in Charing Cross
Tim Walker's first London show since his 2019 V&A exhibition presents 250 specially created portraits of Queer people and their allies, the result of five years of work. The exhibition opens with portraits of 1970s and 1980s activists from the Gay Liberation Front and Stonewall, then moves through social workers, nightlife performers, musicians and superstars. Designed by Walker's longtime collaborator Shona Heath, it runs until 7 February 2027.
There is an audio guide on the Bloomberg Connects app, with insights from Tim Walker and the curator.
